I am writing to thank you for your involvement and engagement with the local community at the ArtSpark Carnivale festival, an exciting community event which celebrated cultural diversity and creativity. Council has received an overwhelmingly positive response from evaluations and feedback received about the event.

Without the presence of talented performers and artists, delicious food stalls, informative commumity organisations and Government bodies, our local community would not be able to access information and celebrate cultural diversity and creativity in a fun and family friendly environment.

It was through the collaboration of individuals, groups, local organisations and Government Departments that Council was able to deliver such a successful community festival.

Thank you for your support and participation in Councils Activities.

Touched by Olivia Foundation – Family Fun Fair

On behalf of the Touched By Olivia Foundation, I want to thank you for your wonderful donation by way of reduced hire fees that helped to make the Family Fun Fair 2009 and the opening of the “Livvi’s Place” all abilities playground such a huge success. Over $30,000 was raised on the day which will go towards the next phase.

Since the inception of the Touched By Olivia Foundation in 2006, it has been our dream to see the realisation of the first “Livvi’s Place” all abilities playground. We are absolutely thrilled that it has finally opened and will benefit all children in Inner West Sydney and beyond. It has been through the generous support of organisations like yours that this has been made possible.

We hope to liaise with you again in the future
