This means having as much time as is humanly possible before the ceremony to arrange and set every follicle of hair and to clean and make up your face perfectly without the added stress of needing to be somewhere in an hour.

Even if you wanted to avoid it, let’s be honest – you’re not going to be able to dodge an overwhelmed mother or aunt. If it so happens that your makeup gets spoiled in the moment, keep some blotting paper in your bag, then dab it on the spoiled part to remove the stain. Once most of the stain is removed, apply concealer.
